JavaScript is the name of the implementation of Netscape Communications Corporation for the ECMAScript standard, a scripting language based on the concept of prototype-based programming. Language is primarily known for its use in websites (as client-side JavaScript) and also used to provide access to scripts embedded object (embedded) in other applications.
Despite having a similar name, JavaScript is only slightly related to the Java programming language, the main similarity is the use of C syntax Semantically, JavaScript has more in common with the Self programming language.
