A few weeks ago, Google has announced the Layers feature in Google Maps for BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Symbian S60. Currently Google has just added a layer that covers the NYC subway routes on the map. With this new application, expected to be able to help you quickly navigate the subway system of New York City. To see this new layer to see a map of New York City, simply click the Layer menu and then turn the layer Transit Lines.
Of course, you can also get step-by-step public transit directions by using the menu "Get Directions", and then select the icon of public transit (public transport). You can learn more about updates to the Google Transit in the United States and Europe on the Google LatLong Blog.
To download the latest version of Google Maps for mobile with layers, visit m.google.com / maps from your smartphone.
